Frequently Asked Questions.

  • $175 / 50-minute session

I recognize that therapy is an investment, so we will make a plan to work on what is most important to you in a time frame that fits your budget.

Sessions can occur weekly, biweekly, or monthly depending on your needs and goals.

    I do accept HSA/FSA cards.

  • I’m located in the Chicago suburbs, but provide online therapy throughout Illinois, Michigan, South Carolina, & Florida and mom coaching worldwide.

  • I do not offer in-person sessions. All sessions are provided online via Zoom.

  • I see clients Monday - Friday from 9am - 3pm (CST).

  • Like most specialty providers, I do not accept health insurance and I am considered an “out-of-network” provider.

  • Yes! If your insurance offers out-of-network benefits, they may reimburse you for part of your fee after meeting a deductible.

Upon your request, I am happy to provide you with a receipt (“Superbill”) that you can submit to your insurance company.

  • The free 15-minute phone consultation is a time for both of us to see if we are a good fit. You can ask any specific questions you have for me and I’ll make sure that you are getting help from the right place.

    How it works:

Send me a message on my contact page and I will get back to you via phone or text in less than 24 hours to schedule the free consultation.

I will call you at the time we have scheduled. If we both decide that we are a good fit, we will schedule our first session from there.

  • The first session involves getting to know one another and talking about your goals. We start creating a road map to get you where you want to be.

I take a relaxed, informal approach so that you don’t feel bombarded with questions and feel as comfortable as possible.

It’s normal to feel nervous. The anticipation of the first session is often much scarier than the session itself.

My personal goal is for you to walk away from our first meeting feeling empowered, valued, seen, and hopeful that you are on the right track to make healthy changes in your life.

  • If you are interested in Christian Counseling, here are some ways faith can be integrated into sessions:

-Focusing on God’s grace and His purpose for you

-Exploring Bible verses relevant to your current situation or struggles.

-Examining what the Bible says about certain behaviors or habits.

-Evaluating your thoughts and aligning them with Biblical truths.

-Developing strategies to have a deeper connection with God.

-Ways to model healthy, Christ-like coping strategies for your children

-Creating a strong spiritual connection with your husband.

More about my faith and church involvement:

    I attend a large, non-denominational Christian church.

My husband and I have been involved in ministry for many years in different capacities, including my husband being a pastor.

I am involved in several small groups and a leader for our children’s ministry.

I welcome any additional questions you may have.
